Sixu Touré: "Paname" (2013) (Source: youtube.com)	Sixu Daby Touré is a new artist creating hip hop music. Sixu is the son of Ismaila Touré, a founding and continuing member of Touré Kunda. "Diabar" and "Diami Rew" are newly recorded versions of the songs originally released on Terra Saabi. "Leopold Sedar Senghor" is a remix of the track originally released on the Le Joola cassette. Cassette album	Touré Kunda: Le Joola, Liaison Ziguinchor-Dakar (2003-10-01) Cassette album / Gadiaga / Senegal Description: Cassette-only benefit album released only in Senegal to support the project "Un Bateau Pour La Casamance". The project was launched by the Touré brothers, Youssou N'Dour, and others, to raise funds for replacement of Le Joola, a ferry boat in the Casamance area of Senegal that wrecked on September 26, 2002, and for the families of the victims. The tragedy took the lives of more than 1,800 people. Touré Kunda also performed several concert dates in support of the project. Sixu Daby J contributed vocals, tracks not specified. Produced by Claude Chamboissier. All songs written and composed by Ismaila Touré and Sixu Tidiane Touré, with co-composer Dondieu Divin on "Aïyayao", co-writer David Diop on "Sama Dio", and co-writer Hady Baba Diallo on "Toumouranké", except "Nobel" by Phil Collins. "Nobel" is a cover version of the Phil Collins hit "In The Air Tonight", probably with different lyrics. "Cindy" is a newly recorded version of the song from Mouslaï (1996). "Sama Dio" bears some resemblance to "E'Mbalma" from Amadou Tilo (1983). "Cindy" was originally recorded for the Mouslaï album. The CD release inserts include lyrics in the original language. Produced by Christian Lachenal, Robson Galdino, and Ismaila and Sixu Tidiane Touré. All songs written by various combinations of Ismaila, Sixu Tidiane, Ousmane, and Hamidou Touré. Consists mostly of newly re-recorded versions of classic songs from Toubab Bi, Salam, Sili Béto, and É'mma Africa, and one new song "Adjua". "Téria" and "Fiança" are the original versions. "Koutourou" was the introduction to "É'mma" on Mandinka Dong and both live albums. The 1999 CD release insert includes lyrics in French translations only for "Ema Ema", "Diabindor", "Guerrilla", and "Maramba". The 2002 CD release insert includes only basic track and credits information and no notes or lyrics. Sixu Junior Touré contributed backing vocals on "Adjua".
